Scroll all the way to bottom to see some of my newly uploaded examples of pottery mostly raku that I've made: tiles, knobs and wall art :>)
The paintings above are handmade but the jacket and top Bev is wearing are upcycled and can be for sale if you are interested. The leather belt is from the 1980's and is Vintage if you want more info - [email protected]
I created these "personal pockets" and have asked $15 - 20 each for them but not sold any. I would like you to 'make me "A Good Offer"' on them. The one at top left has the pocket in back (with card sticking out) and some added silk embroidery (commercially done) on front for decoration. The purse on upper right has a vintage corduroy button and two pockets accessing the whole unlined base of whimsical handbag. The bag at bottom has some older buttons, pocket in front where card is sticking out.
I hand-sewed this 100% cashmere wool purse out of an old scarf that was moth-eaten in places carefully avoiding those holes. I glued the Blackcock label that says the fabric was made in Scotland by Gibson & Lumgair Ltd. (it unfortunately shows some of the glue soaked through with a permanent wet look to label :>( The actual size of lining of purse is shorter than the fringed outer layer so only measures 4.5" square of usable storage. Strap is 18" long and it too reacted to the glue I used to stable-ize the pinked edges so is a bit stiff but the purse itself is the wonderful Scottish soft hand 100% cashmere of the original scarf. I have included all the salvageable pieces from the scarf as extra cashmere for you to felt or play around with as I have done in this funky hand made accessory. Please 'make me "A Good Offer"' on this "set"
